Also, don’t miss out on the extraordinary iPhone 15 offer.
Techies, sci-fi movie aficionados and pretty much anyone who goes online have at least a general idea of what the abbreviation AI stands for. But the exact perception of it can differ from group to group.
For techies, AI — Artificial intelligence –is life altering, the wave of today and of the future. They look for ways to utilize it whenever possible in almost everything they do.
For sci-fi enthusiasts, it’s that eerie, lurking force that high level thinkers, inventors, put in machines that eventually get so smart they no longer need their creator; they begin to think for themselves, take control and threaten human existence. The A then means alive!
There is also that group some might refer to as conspiracy theorists. It has its own thoughts on AI.
For the rest, though, it’s a lot simpler: It’s a way to help make daily tasks easier.
But soon, for another part of the population, iPhone users, AI will be short for another term altogether: Apple Intelligence.
Advertising has begun on it and Apple has made information available online at tinyurl.com/mvpe4643, but just how users introduce it into their daily tasks is probably like beauty; it’s in the eye of the beholder. Different people will utilize some features more than others.
Apple describes it this way on its site:
“Now that’s smart. Our latest iPhone models are built for Apple Intelligence, the personal intelligence system that helps you write, express yourself, and get things done effortlessly. With groundbreaking privacy protections, it gives you peace of mind that no one else can access your data — not even Apple.”
The latest models Apple wrote about are all of the iPhone 16s, the iPhones 15 Pros and iPhone 15 Pro Maxes. (And to utilize AI, they have to be on IOS 18.1.)
The good news is they are available at FTC.
As a bit of a disclaimer at this point: Since this technology is so new, the only experts on it work for Apple.
Those eligible for an upgrade, looking for a great Christmas gift or who just want to start service with FTC should stop by one of the company’s seven stores and pick one up! Customers signing up for a 2-year contract can get an iPhone 16,128 Gigabyte device starting at $349.
In addition to the access to AI, the iPhone 16 series features new chips, faster access to videos and photos and more robust batteries.
A totally new feature being introduced is a hearing test when the device is used with Airpods Pro 2. There are several sub-features that accompany this addition as well.
As for iOS 18.1, AI is not the only addition. Users will be able to record phone calls as well as have a transcript of the recording through the notes app.
And since Christmas is just around the corner, FTC is excited to announce for those in need of two iPhones a deal that is too good to pass up! Purchase any iPhone and get an iPhone 15 128 GB for $9.99 (certain restrictions apply).
No, that is not a typo.
A brand new iPhone for less than $10 will make gift-giving a whole lot more affordable this season.
So if you want to upgrade your device and find out what the new AI is all about or you want to be among the first AI experts in the area, then stop by one of FTC’s store locations, go to ftc.net/services/wireless/phones-information/#iphone or call 888-218-5050!
