The Cooperative believes that all people, regardless of their address (even if it is the only home on a dirt road), need quality communications, which is a key reason the company is in the midst of massive fiber build. FTC’s pledge is also to stay on the cutting edge of technology, which is another reason for the emphasis on fiber. It makes all the five core products perform even better.

Internet
FTC is constantly working to make the customer experience the best in the marketplace.
One of the Cooperative’s long-term goals is to reach each member with a fiber connection. That allows the capability to provide symmetrical internet speeds meaning the upload and download speeds are the same. In the Cooperative’s fiber areas, plans up to 1 Gigabit are available. Wireless
The company wireless network has 142 towers spread across its five-county service area and that number will only continue to grow to ensure strong coverage. Voice
FTC was founded as Farmers Telephone Cooperative in 1951 with the goal to reach all parts of its five counties with landline service via a copper connection. That mode of service still exists today and is a viable way of connecting people. The company also makes VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) available through a copper connection as well as fiber.
