KINGSTREE, Nov. 19 – FTC has been named one of six 2015 Calix Innovation Award winners as announced by Calix Inc. – one of the world’s leader in gigabit fiber deployments. FTC received the Innovation in Partnering for Business Efficiency for its partnership with Horry Telephone Cooperative Inc. (HTC).
Each year, the Calix Innovation Awards recognize service providers from the Calix customer base that have demonstrated excellence in leveraging the Calix Unified Access portfolio and Compass suite of software applications. Calix selects winners that deliver new revenue generating services, show commitment to their local communities and bring about overall business transformation within the past year.
FTC is one of six telecommunication cooperatives to win a Calix Innovation award. The five other award winners included national and international brands, which provide coverage in the following areas: Arizona, Illinois, Idaho, South Carolina, Spain and Wyoming.
