Fried Chicken
- 2.5 Cups of Vegetable Oil
- Plateful of Self Rising Flour
- tsp Salt
- tsp Pepper
- TBS Celery Seed
- Chicken legs and Boneless, Skinless Breast
Shrimp Orzo Salad
- Bag of Orzo
- Salted Water
- Large English Cucumber
- Pint Cherry Tomatoes
- Dill
- Feta Cheese
- lb Precooked Shrimp
- 2 TBS Dijon Mustard
- 1 TBS Mayonnaise
- 1 TBS White Vinegar
- 1/4 Cup of Virgin Olive Oil
- Fresh Dill
- Salt
- Pepper
Directions
Fried Chicken: Heat vegetable oil in skillet until it is almost bubbling. Put Flour in plate and add salt, pepper and celery seed. Roll Chicken pieces in flour mixture until each piece is well coated. Start with the largest pieces first. Put in hot oil and brown on one side and flip and cover.
Shrimp Orzo Salad: Bring pot of salted water to a boil and add bag of orzo and cook for 11-13 minutes. While orzo is cooking. Chop cucumber into small pieces. Split tomatoes in half. Put Chopped veggies in salad bowl. Drain Orzo and add Shrimp and place in bowl with veggies. Dressing: Combine mustard, mayonnaise, vinegar, oil and chopped fresh dill, salt and pepper and whist until blended well. Put in salad dressing, add Feta Cheese and stir until well mixed.
